The SEO Process

How Does It All Work?

Running a small business is hard enough without having to figure out SEO. My process is simple and built to get you results without overcomplicating things.

The diagram below shows my straightforward approach to getting you better results. I’ll follow a clear, three-phase cycle for a complete SEO process:
ResearchRefine, and Results.

Let’s break down what each phase means

PHASE ONE

RESEARCH

The process starts with a thorough investigation to understand your business and your goals. This includes a discovery call, a full SEO audit of your site, and an initial baseline SEO report. I’ll also get to work on competitor analysis and in-depth keyword research, so we have a clear plan of attack.

WHAT YOU GET

• Discovery call
• Full SEO audit of your site
• Initial baseline SEO report
• Competitor analysis
• In-depth keyword research

PHASE TWO

REFINE

I call this the SEO Boost phase, and it’s all about fixing the issues we’ve uncovered. I’ll implement all the necessary technical and on-page optimisations to get your site in top shape.

WHAT YOU GET

• Technical SEO fixes
• On-page optimisations
• Content improvements

PHASE THREE

RESULTS

In this phase, I’ll show you the clear results of the work. I’ll provide you with clear SEO reports that show your progress and identify new opportunities. The results from these reports will then feed back into the research phase, allowing for ongoing work to continuously improve your SEO performance.

WHAT YOU GET

• Clear, easy-to-read SEO reports
• Recommended Actions
• New opportunities for growth

What to expect on a discovery call

A discovery call is a chance for me to get to know more about you and your small business, so that I can help guide your SEO journey completely tailored to you and your business needs.

1.

First I’ll learn what it is you do and why you want to begin your SEO journey. Plus you can learn a bit more about me.

2.

Here we’ll get into the nitty gritty of your SEO goals. I encourage you to think outside of ‘I want more organic search traffic’ and truly think about your goals on a deeper level. You can download this guide in preparation containing 4 key questions, which I will also send to you before our call.

3.

Finally, we will talk about next steps. I will typically summarise our conversation and notes from your SEO goals and let you know a timeframe when you can expect to hear back from me with your bespoke proposal.

Once our call is complete, as mentioned earlier, you will receive your bespoke proposal to begin your SEO Journey and when you are happy with the outlined plan, I will then also send over a service agreement. As soon as this is signed, we are ready to take your SEO Journey together.
